You will learn to create and use macros, manage renderings, and adjust materials, lighting, and camera settings. The course culminates in an engaging final project: a 60-foot flybridge multi-deck motor yacht, where you will be encouraged to experiment with different design variations to boost creativity and help develop your own unique style. This course is the final part of a three-level Rhino course that started with the software’s basics, explored intermediate tools, and now dives into advanced features.
  • Sail Design 1 + Sailmaking

    Enroll simultaneously in the Sail Design 1 and Sailmaking courses and learn all the different aspects to be considered when designing and manufacturing a new sail: types of rigs, sail geometry, materials, fibers, cloths, aerodynamics, design phases, sails inventories, sail lofts, sewing machines, manufacturing, production cards, quality checks, how panels are joined, how the edges are faired, patches, corner reinforcements, the boltrope, the leech line, the luff hardware, battens, finishing details ... You will find knowledge and guidance previously difficult to find or simply unavailable.
  • Yacht 3D Modeling with Rhino – Levels 1 & 2

    Enroll simultaneously in the Yacht 3D Modeling with Rhino - Level 1 & Level 2 courses and take your naval and yacht modeling skills from beginner to advanced. From the first steps with the software interface and basic geometries to pro-surface techniques, continuity, and advanced solid tools, you will be ready to face a real-world experience after taking these courses. The last part of each course is dedicated to a hands-on project, where you will apply, modeling a yacht, all the concepts covered during the course to create impressive curves, shapes, and seamless connections.

Then, it continues by mastering continuity and advanced solids tools. It culminates with a 60-foot ocean sailing yacht as a final project, where you will apply all the concepts covered during the course to create impressive curves, shapes, and seamless connections.

  • Composite Materials 1 + Structural Design & Scantling with ISO 12215

    Enroll simultaneously in the Composite Materials 1 and Structural Design & Scantling with ISO 12215 courses and learn composite materials, their components, manufacturing processes, applications, terminology, datasheets, and their selection criteria, as well as the fundamentals of strength of materials, structural design, and scantling determination of yachts and boats with the ISO standard 12215.
  • Structural Design & Scantling with ISO 12215

    Structural design and scantling determination are crucial steps in a vessel’s design process since providing sufficient structural strength is one of the main objectives when designing floating devices. Moreover, they also affect other aspects of a vessel, such as resistance and stability. By completing this course, you will be able to design the structure of a boat, understand the ISO 12215 norm and the fundamentals behind it, and apply this norm to evaluate the scantling of either motorboats or sailing yachts.

  • Yacht 3D Modeling with Rhino. Level 1

    This course provides detailed explanations about the software interface and all the basic geometries used in naval and yacht applications. It also defines a consistent workflow for an organized design with Rhinoceros. The last part is dedicated to the hands-on development of a daysailer boat 3D model.

  • Sailing Yacht Design 1 + Stability & Evaluation with ISO 12217

    Enroll simultaneously in the Sailing Yacht Design 1 and Stability & Evaluation with ISO 12217 courses and learn the main aspects of the design of sailing yachts and gain a deep understanding of yacht stability and how to apply this knowledge to use the ISO 12217 Standard for assessment and categorization of sailing boats.
  • Sail Design 1 + Aerodynamics for Yacht & Sail Designers

    Enroll simultaneously in the Sail Design 1 and Aerodynamics for Yacht & Sail Designers courses and learn the different aspects to be considered when designing a new sail and the fundamentals of fluid mechanics that govern how sails (and foils) work.
  • Stability & Evaluation with ISO 12217

    After completing this course, you will deeply understand ship stability in the context of yachts and small craft and how to apply this knowledge to use the ISO 12217 Standard, “Small craft — Stability and buoyancy assessment and categorization,” Part 2, “Sailing boats of hull length greater than or equal to 6 m.”

  • Scantling with ISO 12215

    This course will explain the ISO 12215 - 5 standard, perform a complete calculation of a monohull, help analyze the results obtained, and explain why some solutions are more suitable than others. The course develops step-by-step scantling calculations of a 17m length GPR sailboat: hull, appendages, and rig.
