The Ocean
Our common good
While human flourishing may also be related to space exploration and colonization, we strongly believe our future well-being depends primarily on the ocean.
Today, the ocean provides food and supports the livelihoods of over 3 billion people. It is an essential ally in the fight against climate challenges and a source of significant cultural, aesthetic, and recreational values. Around 80% of the ocean floor remains unmapped, and an estimated one million species have yet to be discovered.
