About

Overview

I am a naval engineer from Madrid, I hold a Master’s degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ETSIN, UPM) in Madrid, Spain. I developed a passion for experimental hydrodynamic studies during my internship at the CEHINAV research group. I have been working for more than five years in experimental towing tank research, where I focused on model-scale offshore platforms, gaining significant insights into their seakeeping, and hydrodynamic behaviour.

Currently, I serve as an assistant professor at ETSIN. Alongside my teaching duties, I am a PhD candidate working on seakeeping prediction using various Machine Learning techniques and using both a numerical fully coupled simulation dataset and an experimental one.

My solid background in dynamic floating behaviour and developing programming tools with naval applications invites me to share this knowledge. Navalapp provides a wonderful tool to teach others and helps in innovation in these fields.

Interests & Hobbies

Apart from my professional dreams, I love sports. I practise rock climbing and alpinism. I used to go for training each day. I am interested in doing extreme adventure sports like diving, ice climbing or parachuting.
