The Course

Composite Materials are one of the most fascinating materials in the world of engineering, with a large number of benefits.

The course of Composite Materials 1 will include all the principles and theory that involves composite materials, focusing mainly on the Naval Industry.

You will learn specific terminology and basic chemistry fundaments to understand how the composite behaves. Different manufacturing processes and materials will be shown during the course, and we will show you the key points to select the correct or most convenient of them based on the project we want to achieve. This will also include a proper reading of material data sheet.

Once these bases are settled, we will work together in the construction of the basic laminate calculation spreadsheet for composite materials.

We will provide you with all the documentation materials to follow the course, recommended bibliography, and at the end of the course, we will do together a final evaluation survey to show what we learned.

Join me on this journey! You are at one click of being part of the composite world!
