Our common good
While human flourishing may also be related to space exploration and colonization, we strongly believe our future well-being depends primarily on the ocean.
Today, the ocean provides food and supports the livelihoods of over 3 billion people. It plays a critical role in combating climate challenges and is a source of significant cultural, aesthetic, and recreational values. Yet, approximately 80% of the ocean floor remains unexplored, and an estimated one million species are still waiting to be discovered.
