Composite Materials 1. Early Access

We are pleased to announce that Early Access to the “Composite Materials 1: Manufacturing & Production” course is now officially open.
Early Access gives you the opportunity to enroll in Composite Materials 1 before its official release, at a special discounted price available only during this period.
About the Course
“Composite Materials 1: Manufacturing & Production” is a practical, technical introduction to composite materials, focused on how they are manufactured and used in real production.
The course highlights what matters in practice: construction details, production-oriented design decisions, and the factors that drive manufacturability, quality, repeatability, and efficiency.
You’ll learn how composites are produced, how to approach mould design for series production, and what to consider when defining requirements, selecting a mould concept, or choosing a material system from a production perspective.
The course also covers common manufacturing defects, prevention and repair methods, and an overview of inspection and testing techniques used for composite components.
About the Instructor: Lucia Diaz
Lucia brings a strong combination of naval engineering background and hands-on composite manufacturing experience to this course. She is a Naval Architect and Marine Systems Engineer and has spent the last seven years working at a leading company in the manufacture of composite plugs, moulds, and prototypes.
Lucia’s experience is deeply connected to production. Her work covers the full project life cycle, including budgeting, planning, manufacturing procedures, 3D design, machining, CAM programming, materials coordination, resource management, and direct client communication.
