About
| Overview | I am a Naval Architect currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Navales (ETSIN). My academic journey began at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, where I earned both my degree and master’s in Naval Architecture. My degree thesis focused on the design of a touristic submarine, while my master thesis centered on creating a wavemaker for a Hydrodynamic Test Channel. It was during the development of my master’s thesis that I discovered a passion for coding. This interest has only grown stronger over time, especially as I began working on my Ph.D., which involves developing a digital twin of an offshore wind turbine. By applying machine learning techniques, I aim to enhance the prediction and simulation capabilities of these turbines. Currently, I am in the process of developing two Python libraries, which I plan to release soon. I firmly believe that coding is a superpower in the 21st century, essential for understanding and advancing artificial intelligence, one of the most significant revolutions of our time. |
| Interests & Hobbies | Outside of my professional pursuits, I have a variety of interests and hobbies that keep me engaged and inspired. I love taking rides on my motorcycle, a Kawasaki Vulcan S, which provides a sense of freedom and adventure. Additionally, I find great joy in spending time at the beach, where I can relax and read for hours. These activities not only offer a break from my academic work but also inspire creativity and provide a well-rounded balance to my life. Whether I’m coding, developing new projects, or enjoying a ride on my motorcycle, I am driven by a passion for learning and exploring new frontiers. |
