The Ocean: Our Common Good

While human flourishing may also be related to space exploration and colonization, we strongly believe our future well-being depends primarily on the ocean.
Today, the ocean provides food and supports the livelihoods of over 3 billion people. It plays a critical role in combating climate challenges and is a source of significant cultural, aesthetic, and recreational values, as well as biological, mineral, and energy resources. Yet, approximately 80% of the ocean floor remains unexplored, and an estimated one million species are still waiting to be discovered.
Moreover, seaborne trade accounts for 80% of world trade. Ensuring good order at sea, safeguarding maritime routes, protecting sea-based resources and infrastructure, promoting freedom of navigation, and fostering international cooperation and consensus are all crucial elements for human development and prosperity.
We are on a mission to make Yacht Design, Naval Architecture, and Ocean Engineering accessible. This journey is only possible because of you. Thank you very much for being part of it!
